HerBCP exists to:
Connect women and girls with each other and with local opportunities
Celebrate the achievements, creativity, and stories of women in our area
Support those facing challenges, from safety to SEND to social services
Educate through mentoring, financial confidence, rights awareness, and community learning
Uplift local female businesses, artists, performers, athletes, and leaders
Include everyone — women, girls, trans women and the men who support us
Honour the heritage, nature, and unique spirit of our coastline and forest communities
We believe that when women and girls thrive, the whole community thrives.
HerBCP is a community network celebrating, supporting, and empowering women and girls across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
We bring together local stories, practical resources, creative talent, and community connection so every woman and girl in BCP feels seen, valued, and supported.
HerBCP is for every age, every background, every identity — including trans women, carers, young people, women in business, creatives, mothers, survivors, students, and those finding their way.
If you live in BCP and identify with our content then this space is for you.
As a NEW community project our first step is to gather stories of inspiring female lead/focused orgnaisations and individuals who are making a difference.
